Wilhelm Mensching (1887-1964) was a German Evangelical Lutheran pastor, missionary and peace activist. After WWII he founded Freundschaftsheim ("Friendship Home"), an international training center for peace workers. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1950.
