Gerald K. Hibbert was a Quaker thinker and first warden of the Swarthmore adult educational settlement in Leeds, UK. After the WWI Hibbert moved on to become headmaster of the Quakers’ School at Ackworth near Pontefract in West Yorkshire, and took up a more prominent role in Quakerism nationally.
