    Katherine Evans (1618–1692), was an English Quaker activist who was held captive during the Roman Inquisition in Malta, between December 1658 and August 1663. During and after her captivity, she published several books that were critical of the Catholic Church and the Inquisition and promoted her own Quaker beliefs.
